The fishing/swimming hole is just 50 feet from the back deck. Take a leisurely walk or bike into the friendly town of Dunsmuir to shop and/or dine in one of the many restaurants and cafes.

Dunsmuir is a historic railroad town, where you can hear the trains go by. It's built along the Sacramento River, which is known for its "blue ribbon" fly fishing. The area offers something for everyone. Lake Shasta and Lake Shastina are close by for fishing, boating, swimming and water skiing. Hikers and climbers will enjoy the trails and cliffs along Castle Crags and Mount Shasta. Skiing and snowboarding are also terrific on Mount Shasta. No traffic problems here!
